The client selects the rough stone and together we define the expected design. Estonian Gem Factory then creates a design for the stone in CAD.
The stone grinding begins. If you wish, the customer can also put their own hand on the stone, which adds even more specialness and sentimentality!
Once the stone is finished, the customer will let us know exactly what the stone should be like. The jeweller will draw a 3D design of the jewellery, which will be coordinated with the client. Married 3D printed and cast.
The cost of polishing depends on the complexity of the stone design. In most cases, the price of the work ranges between 300€ and 390€, plus the price of the stone. The price of a raw stone depends on the material. To give you an example of life itself: the price of a light blue Sky Blue Topaz 5ct rough stone is 50€, the price of a natural colour-changing Kenyan Sapphire 5ct rough stone is 150-250€, depending on the colour.
We can design into the stone a symbol associated with the stone’s owner and create a very special and unique design for the stone. Price 30€/h. Depending on the complexity of the design, the creation of a unique stone design takes 2-10h.
Price 30€/h. The price includes drawing the stone to be restored on a computer and grinding or polishing the stone. In general, the restoration time is between 3-12h, depending on the size and complexity of the stone.
A couple of hours in our studio, where you are welcome to come with your family or work colleagues.

The price for a workshop for up to 10 people is 30€/person. Price for larger groups by arrangement.
After this tour, you’ll look at gemstones with a whole new perspective!
In addition to talking about and demonstrating stone cutting, all participants will be able to try their hand and help the bride-to-be cut a natural cabochon-style (or curved) Welo Opal.
Grinding the stone takes about 1,5-2h. I supervise and coordinate the grinding. At the same time, we will talk about different stones and have a chance to see the gemstone collection of the Estonian Gem Factory.
